11TH INTERNATIONAL TANG SOO DO FEDERATION™
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
AUGUST 5-8, 2010
ROSEN CENTRE HOTEL
ORLANDO, FLORIDA USA

SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM CHOONG JAE NIM CHUN SIK KIM
(TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR)
Dear Masters, Instructors & International Tang Soo Do Federation™ Family:
Tang Soo! Our 11th International Tang Soo Do Federation™ World Championship held August 5-8, 2010 at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Florida, USA was a great success. This is certainly due to everyone who participated. I am glad that it is over and that there were no injuries. I saw 100% of all International Tang Soo Do Federation™ practitioners become one family. Everyone helped each other. This certainly demonstrated how different martial arts are from sports. My thanks to everyone! This gives me a great reward! Those who were out of the country that attended the seminars showed a great understanding of martial arts even as they overcame the language barriers.
I hope that everyone returned home safely. Do not hesitate to mail your photos to the International Tang Soo Do Federation™ headquarters. I am especially interested in any pictures of the Korean delegation, opening ceremonies and group photos of you and your students. I would like to post them on our website for all to enjoy!
The Korean guests were very impressed with everyone (participants and non-participants). They said they appreciated their attitudes and personalities. They said they were able to tell the difference between sports and martial arts.
The International Tang Soo Do Federation™ will let you know very soon where the 12th International Tang Soo Do Federation™ World Championship in 2012 will be held. Even though our economy is bad, this was the best attended event than ever before. Thank you everyone for your support! Tang Soo!
Sincerely,
Choong Jae Nim Chun Sik Kim

Tournament Feedback:
Choong Jae Nim received the following letter regarding the 11th World Championship:
Tang Soo! Sir, I am deeply humbled. In the wake of the events of the World Tournament, I find myself reflecting on the sense of family and togetherness that is the International Tang Soo Do Federation. There is an overwhelming feeling of pyong ahn when I am surrounded by my brothers and sisters in training; and our time in Orlando surely accented that atmosphere. Choong Jae Nim, I want to thank you for all that you have done and continue to do.
I also want to express my deepest gratitude for the appointment to the International Tang Soo Do Federation Technical Advisory Committee. I can only do my best to uphold the standards of the Federation and will endeavor to do my part as a committee member and ensure that those standards are adhered to in the strictest manner possible. This, sir, is an incredible honor that you have bestowed upon me and you have my gratitude.
Finally, I wanted to say that it was indeed exciting to see the enthusiasm among all the masters and school owners for fundraising assistance with the Training & Meditation Center! It made me very proud to do my part in order to assist in making this dream for all of us come true. It makes me proud to be in the presence of so many great masters and seniors that I can call "friend". It makes me proud to be a lifetime member of the International Tang Soo Do Federation.
Your humble student, Master Wayne Boozer-Texas Coast Karate
