In 2001, Choong Jae Nim Master Chun Sik Kim began to make
his dream a reality! His dream is to develop a universal training
center where all martial artists, regardless of style, and
their families can join together to train and learn. This
is a monumental undertaking which requires extensive planning
and strong financial support.
To meet these goals the members of the International Tang
Soo Do Federation throughout the country began to hold fund-raising
events. A series of Benefit Championship Tournaments and Specialized
Training Seminars have been held these past two years. The
proceeds from these events were contributed to the Building
Fund for the International Tang Soo Do Federation Training
& Meditation Center.

Choong Jae Nim and the
International Tang Soo Do Technical Advisory Committee
offered a clinc for Pittsburgh area ITF Members to Raise
funds for the International Tang Soo Do Meditiation
and Training center Building Fund. The all-day event
was attended by hundreds of students of all ranks including
Black Belts. Practitioners received personal attention
from Choong Jae Nim Kim who stressed the development
of strong basics and stance. All students received special
Certificates of Participation for their attendance

It is clear to see that many martial artists are already
enjoying the benefits of training and learning from each other
in an atmosphere of brotherhood and companionship. Great spirit
and enthusiasm has been demonstrated at all of the events
held throughout the country.
Many people have asked how they can personally become involved
and contribute to the development of this Training & Meditation
Center. Anyone interested is welcome to send a donation to
the "International Tang Soo Do Federation Building Fund".
Donation of your professional services (i.e., architecture,
construction, etc.) and business connections (i.e. building
& construction materials, eletrical supplies, etc.) are
also special ways to contribute.
